Job description:
Support in the development of activities within the different projects and research lines at the BCBL, mainly in participant selection and management, data recording, statistical data processing, and logistical organization of experimental session implementation.
Specific tasks include:
• Support in the preparation of new experiments: preliminary analyses prior to data collection, pilot testing, parameter adjustment, and gathering additional participant information.
• Coordinate the pre-selection and selection process of participants who meet the study criteria.
• Welcome participants to BCBL laboratories and explain the tasks they will be performing.
• Prepare participants and experimental rooms according to the technique to be used.
• Install specific software required for each test.
• Conduct experimental sessions using the relevant techniques (video-behavioral, EEG, fMRI, MEG, eye-tracking, etc.).
• Participate in the design and development of experimental sessions.
• Acquire and monitor data quality.
• Perform data pre-processing and analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with the principal investigators (PIs) of each project and study.
• Manage the laboratory calendar and scheduling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or procedural issues.
• Organize and classify documents.
• Assess laboratory needs and report them as necessary.
The department:
The Laboratory Department has several techniques for the study of brain activity and cognition, such as MEG, MRI, Behavioural, Eye Tracking, EEG, and OCT. In addition, it includes a dedicated Baby Lab.
- CANDIDATE PROFILE AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Required skills:
- Degree in Psychology or Linguistics
- High English, Spanish and Basque language level
Desirable skills:
- Good social skills
- Expertise in RA positions
- Experience in language instruction and assessment
Eligibility:
- Be under 30 years of age
- Unemployed and be registered as a job seeker at any public employment service on the day prior to the start of the contract

Salary: 19.200€ gross annual salary
