- General description:
- The Juan de la Cierva grants are intended to encourage the incorporation of young people, in possession of a doctoral degree, in order to complete their postdoctoral research training in Spanish R&D centers. Participants must meet the requirement of holding a doctoral degree and have obtained it between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024 for the general access shift and for the JDC-INIA-CCAA shift and between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2024 for the access shift for people with disabilities equal to or greater than 33 percent, except if they accredit a cause for interruption according to the call.
- The applications for participation are submitted by the R&D centers including in them the participants for their incorporation to the research teams. The selection is based on a competitive process based on their curricular merits and on the scientific-technical record of the research team in which they wish to join, giving special relevance to the merits related to the tutor researcher.
- The duration of the grant: two years.
- Funding: the gross salary will be 30,000 euros. In addition, an additional grant of 7,400 euros will be awarded to cover expenses directly related to the execution of their research activities.
