- General description:
- The purpose of these grants is to promote the incorporation in research organizations of research personnel, both Spanish and foreign, with an outstanding career in order to acquire the skills and abilities that allow them to obtain a stable position in a research organization of the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation, specifically encouraging the incorporation of researchers who have been developing their professional activity abroad for a certain period.
- In the case of candidates for the general access shift and the RyC-INIA-CCAA shift, the date of obtaining the PhD degree must be between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2022. In the case of candidates for the shift of people with disabilities, the date of obtaining the doctoral degree must be between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2022.
- The duration of the grant will be divided into two phases:
- The first phase, which will have a duration of 3 years. The objective of this phase is to consolidate the skills acquired during a first stage of postdoctoral training. The gross salary will be 36,000 euros.
- The second phase will have a duration of 2 years. Access to this phase will be granted when the evaluation corresponding to the scientific-technical activity, which will be carried out considering the criteria to be an R3 researcher -established researcher- is positive. The researchers will be able to present them for this evaluation after the end of the second year. The annual grant will be 42,500 euros.
- In addition, an additional aid of 50,000 euros will be granted to cover expenses directly related to the execution of their research activities. In the event that an aid for the attraction of talent is granted, the amount of the aforementioned additional aid will be increased by 50,000 euros.
