The Basque Center on Cognition Brain and Language (BCBL) in San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) is looking for an administrative assistant to join its team.
Job description: The candidate will join BCBL's administration department to support various departments:
- In the financial department, the candidate will assist with accounting and finance tasks.
- In the projects department, the candidate will assist in preparing information for justifications and financial audits related to grants, scholarships, and subsidies.
Therefore, this is an open position in which a person with adaptability, versatility and a collaborative attitude and willingness to work is expected.

2. CANDIDATES’ PROFILE AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Required skills and academic background:
- Degree in Business Administration and Management, Certificate of Higher Education in Administration and Finance or similar.
- B2 or higher level of Basque and English.
- Good command of the standard office computing tools.
Desirable skills: We are looking for an organised, proactive person, with a commitment to service, social skills and a desire to join a young and dynamic organisation.
3.WORKING CONDITIONS
Salary: €11.200 gross per annum (20h/week)

4. OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
Language policy
- The corporative language at the center is English although in the administration department Spanish is used as the language of communication within the department.
- The interview may be in Spanish or Basque although the level of Spanish/Basque/English will be assessed at the interview.
